The banana market consists of several varieties, the most widespread of which is the Cavendish, grown in countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Martinique, Peru and the Dominican Republic.

Other varieties such as Freycinettes or red bananas come mainly from Ecuador.

This diversity of varieties and origins allows consumers to choose fruits suited to their tastes and preferences.

Some bananas are certified organic, fair trade, or Demeter, reflecting sustainable and responsible farming practices. These labels guarantee to consumers that the fruit has been grown with respect for the environment and the rights of producers.
The various certifications allow
also to value the work of the producers
local businesses and to encourage trade
more ethical.

Our Bananas

Cavendish Banana

The Cavendish banana is the most common variety, known for its sweet flavor and tender flesh.

Freyssinette Banana

The Freycinettes banana is a small, very fragrant banana, prized for its melting texture and intense taste.

Red Banana

The red banana is distinguished by its purplish-red skin and offers a creamy flesh with a sweeter, vanilla-like aroma than yellow bananas.

Transport and distribution

Bananas are mostly transported by sea, which facilitates their export to international markets while maintaining their quality.

Transport by boat allows for the efficient management of large volumes and ensures that the bananas arrive fresh and edible.

The combination of transport methods, labels and origins contributes to the traceability and reliability of the product for consumers.
